Can I try IKARUS on my own?
Yes. Free Player membership gives you a golfer profile at IKARUS HQ, solo scoring, personal stats, saved scorecards, and your own course library. You can also accept an invitation to someone else’s clubhouse.
Can I add golfers before they sign up?
Yes. An authorized clubhouse manager can create a golfer profile and use it in group rounds. An Owner, Co-owner, or Manager can then email an invitation for that golfer to claim the profile. After they verify their email and accept, their scores, badges, and history stay with it.
Does everyone in my clubhouse have to pay?
No. Golfers can use free accounts to accept invitations and participate in a clubhouse where they have a seat. Buying your own clubhouse is for owning and managing a group yourself. Each active golfer profile—including the owner and unclaimed profiles—uses one seat.
Does everyone need to enter their own scores?
A permitted scorekeeper can record scores for the golfers in a round. The scoring screen lets you move through the group one hole at a time.
Which golf formats can I play?
IKARUS currently supports Stroke Play, Quota, Match Play, and Scramble. Choose the format when you set up your round.
Are badges included in the free account?
Solo scoring, personal stats, and saved scorecards are free. Eligible badge earning, rank progression, Caddie notes, and Coach features unlock with paid access, which can come from a seat in an active paid clubhouse. You don’t have to own a clubhouse yourself.
Does sending an invitation earn referral seats?
An invitation by itself doesn’t earn seats. The bonus comes when an eligible member makes their first qualifying paid clubhouse purchase. Once verified, the original and new clubhouses each receive five bonus seats. Eligibility rules apply, and a full refund reverses both bonuses.
Are these real app screens?
Yes. These are stills captured from IKARUS using sample golfers and rounds. You can enlarge each image here; create an account to score and save your own rounds.
